Tourist Visa

Application Type - 

You can apply for two types of visas online :

First Time (New) : You can apply for a new visa if you do not possess a valid Pakistan visa.

Extension : You can apply for a visa extension if you posses a valid Pakistan visa and you are residing in Pakistan.

Eligibility - Citizens of countries listed are eligible to apply for this visa.

Duration and Validity

• Single Entry for short duration less than 3 months (First Time entry).
• Duration up to and greater than 6 months (Extension).
• Citizens from the list of countries may be eligible for a Double Entry Tourist Visa.
• A Tourist Visa can be extended for up to 6 Months or more, subject to approval.

Processing Time

• Entry (Up to 3 Months) : 7-10 days (Working Days)
• Extension (Up to 6 Months) : 7-10 days (Working Days)
• Extension (Greater than 6 Months) : 4 Weeks (Working days)
• 4 Weeks (Working days – First Time Entry/Visa Extension) (For Afghanistan and Somalia Passport
  Holders)

Business Visas

The Government of Pakistan grants different Business visas to eligible applicants . To promote investment in the country, the Government of Pakistan is granting 5 year Multiple Entry Business Visas to the businessmen of the countries listed by the Government. 

Application Type

You can apply for two types of visas online :

First Time (New) : You can apply for a new visa if you do not possess a valid Pakistan visa.

Extension : You can apply for a visa extension if you posses a valid Pakistan visa and you are residing in Pakistan.

Eligibility

• Citizens of countries listed by the Government are eligible to apply for this visa.

Required Documents

1. Photograph
2. Passport
3. Proof of registration of company which is extending invitation (SECP/ Chamber of Commerce Certificate)
4. Any of the following:
   • Recommendation letter from CC&I of respective foreign country
   • Invitation letter from business organization duly recommended by concerned trade organization in Pakistan – In order to get this REQUIRED DOCUMENT – Please apply through Pakistan’s E-Business Invitation Letter System
   • Recommendation letter by the honorary investment counselor of BOI/Commercial Attaché

Duration and Validity

• A Business Visa may be granted for up to 5 years.
• A Business Visa is valid for Multiple Entries in to Pakistan

• Entry for Business Visa List countries :  24 Hours (Working Hours)
• Entry for Non-Business Visa List countries : 4 Weeks (Working days)
• Entry for Reko Diq Project (All Countries): : 24 Hours (Working Hours)
• Extension : 4 Weeks (Working days)
