Short Term Single Entry - short-term visa with a Tourism Purpose (for a stay of 90 days or less) (single-entry)

Eligibility

Eligible persons: All foreign nationals/people who are not subject to the visa exemption measures implemented by the Government of Japan and reside in the following countries/region are eligible to apply for a visa online;

Brazil, Cambodia, Canada, Mongolia, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, South Africa, Taiwan, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, United States of America

* Nationals/Citizens of the visa exemption measures countries/region
including Canada, Singapore, Taiwan, Unites Arab Emirates, United
Kingdom and United States of America are exempt from obtaining visas for short-term stay. Nevertheless, please note that nationals of Indonesia who reside in the abovementioned countries/region may apply for visa online, if they don’t possess a “visa waiver registration” (seal or in electronic form).

?Certificate of employment of applicant
?Company seal and signature by person in charge are required (including signer's name and position).
?The position and monthly salary of applicant have to be stated.
?It must be address to Consul- General of Japan in Dubai.
?For Partner or Owner, Company letter is required.
?For those owners sponsored by the Free Zone, Salary certificate or incumbency issued from Free Zone is required.
?Personal UAE bank statement (last 3 months)
?Name are required.
?Company bank statement is not accepted.
? Please do not upload any documents other than the required ones.
?If there is any missing document and unclear document at the time of application, you will be terminated immediately without prior notice.

Processing Time
The time required from visa application to visa issuance is 5 working days from the day following the date of receipt of the application, provided that there is no particular problem with the content of application. Meanwhile, it may take longer than usual if a large number of visa applications converge at a short-time period.

JAPAN eVISA is a web service that allows you to apply for a visa required for entry into Japan online.
You must visit the Japanese overseas establishment if you are not exempt from visa fee. No. Internet connection is required to use JAPAN eVISA.
You will receive an email notifying you that your visa has been issued.
You need to withdraw the application and submit a new application with your new passport number. If a new passport is issued during the application process, please contact Japanese overseas establishment.
We provide them with information on visa issuance online. Besides, a number of airlines will check the “Visa issuance notice” on your device to check whether you have a valid eVisa and they will ask you to display the abovementioned Notice at the airport. Please make sure that “Visa Issuance Notice” is successfully displayed on your mobile device in advance.

The Japanese overseas establishment where you submit your application will be automatically determined depending on your place of residence via JAPAN eVISA. If you wish to apply at any other Japanese overseas establishment, please contact the nearest Japanese overseas establishment.
In principle, if there are no problems with the application, the visa will be issued within 5 working days from the date of application (e.g., if the application is submitted on Monday, the visa will be issued on the following Monday). However, it may take longer if your application remains pending for additional documents, information, or an examination by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The visa is valid for three months from the following day of issuance. Please go through the immigration at the airport in Japan within the validity period.
In principle, visa issuance fee is equivalent to 3,000 yen for a single-entry visa. However, there are countries and regions where visa fees are mutually exempted or reduced depending on the applicant's nationality. No. A decision to issue a visa cannot be made until the required screening is completed. You will be notified by email when your visa is ready to be issued. Applications are processed fairly in the order they are received. Please submit your application well in advance.
After logging in, please select the application which you wish to withdraw in the "Visa application list" of eVISA website and click on "withdraw application"
No. An eVISA is issued based on your passport details. If you renewed your passport after obtaining your eVISA, you need to apply for a new visa with your new passport. Please check the expiry date of your passport beforehand.
No. JAPAN eVISA is available only to applicants who apply for a Temporary Visitor Visa for purpose of Tourism so far.
A single-entry temporary visitor visa lets you travel to Japan only one time. For permitted length of your stay, please see the Landing Permission which was attached to your passport at immigration upon arrival.
